{From Cap de Creus to the north}
´´Its vegetable gardeners and vine-growers are excellent, its fishermen areenot lft behind, and the habitants of Llança work with their paternoster lines and nets for fishing lobsters.´´
- Josep Pla -
We are located on the north coast of Cap de Creus, at the northern tip of Alt Empordà, embraced by a microcosm of nature, landscape, biodiversity and fertile land. The local waters of the Mar d´Amunt offer us a marine garden that, every day, gives us fresh, home-grown products of the highest quality. The proximity to the local fish market and the direct contact with the men of the sea, keeps our traditional cuisine vital and alive. The generosity of the land invites us to combine local aromas and flavours to awaken the five senses. The constant evolution of the team and the international experience the chef brings into his cuisine, allow Els Pescadors to offer a gastronomic proposal of historical tradition that is open to the world.
OUR CUISINE
THE CAP DE CREUS LOBSTER
> The rough waters of our coast offer us, for a few months of the year, one of their most precious products: Llagosta del Cap de Creus (LLCC) - the Cap de Creus Lobster. At the Els Pescadors restaurant in Llançà, we have the privilege of being close to this unique and authentic product, central to our seafood tradition. The LLCC lives among the cracks and seafloor rocks of our coastline and is one of the hallmarks of our marine garden.
